Hope you had a fun and/or relaxing time over the holidays. Like I say every year, they come and go too quickly. 2024 was an interesting year for me as buyers started feeling more confident. The most rewarding part of this job is to help people through transitions, especially the exciting ones. New baby? Great job opportunity? Retirement? I love it, and I got to work on it all in 2024.
What will this year bring? Well, it's off to a good start. In Q4 2024 (you can click on the link above to get the full details), the number of transactions closed was up 10% from where it was at the same time 2023, and the number of contracts signed during that same time was up 6% from the prior year. That momentum has carried us right through the new year and from the traffic I am seeing so far, does not show signs of slowing. In fact, our biggest hindrance is not having enough of the properties people want to see! The last three transactions I have worked on have ALL had multiple offers. Thinking of selling?
